Dear Bangladesh Community Members,
BAGA BOD has tentatively finalized the calendar of events for our term. Below please find a tentative event calendar:
1. Close Up 1 Concert – Friday August 14, 2009 at Mexican American Cultural Center2. Iftar Party – Sunday September 6, 2009
3. Eid Party – Saturday September 26, 2009
4. Soccer Tournament – Sunday October 25, 2009
5. Bijoy Dibosh – Saturday December 12, 2009
6. Mohan Ekushe jointly with Austin Bangla School – Sunday February 21, 2010 at City Hall Plaza
7. Shadhinota Dibosh/Picnic – Date March 6, 2010
8. Pohela Boishakh – Saturday April 17, 2010 at Waterloo Park
9. Elections and AGM – Date TBD
In addition to these events, BAGA BOD will be organizing different community services and voluntary events to serve the Bangladeshi and Great Austin communities. Details of these events will be provided as they are scheduled. Any ideas for Community Services and Voluntary Efforts will be greatly appreciated by the BOD.
